How He Asked
Almost 4 years ago, Mar and I went for a walk down to this lake at UConn, where my life would change forever. She decided that she wanted to give our relationship a shot…and just like that, the first chapter of our relationship had started. During Homecoming weekend, I decided to take her back to this exact spot where it all began. I asked her what her favorite memory was of our time spent on this campus.
She told me being in that spot and I replied by saying my 2nd favorite memory was that day we took a walk down by the lake and started dating at the swings. Puzzled by the fact that I hadn’t mentioned what my number one memory was, she asked which memory is the first? I then told her right now. So, our dating chapter ends at the same place it began. Now, I can happily say that my best friend is my Fiancé!
