Brendon Barnwell And Rachel Nussbaum’s Proposal

The proposal was absolutely perfect. It was a beautiful Saturday in Upstate, NY, which felt like thousands of miles out of Manhattan (where we live). We were staying at a lovely, local B&B, which little did I know was where Brendon was initially planning to propose; however, like he said, the waterfall at the end of our morning hike was just too perfect to pass up. What he failed to mention (to his credit, it is likely to save me from embarrassment) was that just three minutes before the proposal, as we were hiking to the waterfall, I fell in the dirt and was covered on my side from butt to ankle–luckily it was easily brushed off. After the proposal, and the Red Panda Experience, we headed back to the B&B, for what was now just an added surprise. I walked into the room to the “alternative” proposal set up, which was filled with rose petals and a nice,chilled bottle of champagne surrounded by little chocolates sitting on the bed. It was the perfect treat to top off the perfect day!
