Shawn Dusaj and Danielle DeCouto’s Proposal

How He Asked
Our favorite thing to do together is go to country music concerts. We have been together for 8 years. There is a parking structure in downtown Detroit that we love to park and tailgate at. It has the best view of the city by far. We went October 29th to Luke Bryan’s concert at ford field.

Before the concert while we were at the top of the parking structure I had my buddies girlfriend distract Danielle and they both went downstairs to find a bathroom. When she came back up she walked out from the elevator and I came up behind her and blind folded her. I walked her over to the ledge that looks over ford field, comerica park, and Detroit. On the ledge I wrote will you marry me? I told her to take the blind fold off and I asked her…I don’t think she actually said yes, she was so excited she could only scream (close enough). There also was a random photographer on the roof the exact same time I proposed and he caught it all! Thank you ring cam!

James Rogers and Yuomoka Houston’s Proposal

How He Asked
Well, the proposal took place in Biloxi, MS. I’m in the Air Force Reserves, so every month I have to spend a weekend there, and I noticed that Biloxi is a beautiful place with many things to do. I ended up picking Mary Mahoney’s, a New Orleans style restaurant, as the place to propose because my fiance and I have had many visits to New Orleans that gave us special memories to look back on. Anyway, they have a beautiful courtyard that has a fountain and a stone wall next to it. I had the staff members hang a banner saying, “Yuomoka Will You Marry Me?,” prior to our arrival.

After ordering our drinks, I made up a reasons for us to go out to the courtyard, and while walking up on the fountain, she saw the banner, and that’s when I began to get down on one knee. I had the ringcam in my pocket until then. Unfortunately, the staff said there would be adequate lighting but that was wrong. So, you can barely see the proposal in the video but you can hear it for sure.

On Nov. 14, 2016 we headed to Chicago to pick out winter coats and to celebrate our two years of dating. Little did she ,know that when we arrived and walked through millennium park waiting for the shops to open, I would get on my knee and propose.

How He Asked
Angela is a huge popcorn fanatic, so while we were at the Yankee’s game, I hid the ring in the popcorn. When she reached down far enough she was very surprised to find a black box in the bag, and that’s when I proposed to her. She said YES! and the Yankees won the game as well! We were all winners that day!

How He Asked
After spending the day together celebrating her birthday, we finally made our way to the Griffith Park Observatory. My goal was to arrive shortly before sunset and capture the moment while we overlooked the city of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, there were many unforeseen distractions such as a woman who decided to record her music video as I started to propose. All in all, I accomplished my goal of surprising my fiancé. 🙂

All of her friends and family were in on the engagement. We made Nicole think her bother was going to propose to his girlfriend that day, not me. This way Nicole would think there was no way she would get engaged the same day. She was so happy (and mad) when I actually proposed 🙂

On one of our very first dates I planned on getting a horse and carriage to take us for a spin around the city. As we were approaching the carriage, Sammie started telling me about how much of a waste of money carriage rides were and that she didn’t think they were that much fun. So I quickly decided to hot route my plans and we just walked around the city for a bit instead. Shortly after that date, Sammie asked to go on a carriage ride. I reminded her that she thought they were a waste of money and told her that I had originally planned on getting one a few months prior but she said she did not like them. This became a running joke and I always brought this up every time we passed a carriage. On the night of our engagement, I had a carriage pick us up at our apartment. The carriage took us to the fountain where we started dating. Our parents had arrived about an hour before had and set up bags that spelled “Marry Me?” along the side of the fountain and lined the walk way and base of the fountain with candles. As we got out of the carriage and started walking towards the fountain, a photographer and violinist followed us taking our picture and playing one of our favorite songs. Our parents were on the other side of the street watching it all happen, but Sammie was not aware at the time. After I popped the question and we had a few minutes to ourselves, our parents surprised Sammie and greeted us. After the photographer snapped a few pictures, we got back in the carriage and returned to our apartment. When we returned to our apartment, a long hall way was filled with balloons that had pictures of Sammie and I all the way from college to the weekend before attached to their strings. As we walked through the balloons we were then greeted by our closest friends and family members who came to the surprise engagement party I had thrown.

I threw a surprise 25th Birthday Party for Lauren. I invited our friends, family and loved ones. Her best friend cued up the music for us to dance together and got down on one knee to ask Lauren for her hand in marriage and life.

I had a blanket made with different phrases, places, and events embroidered that are important to our relationship; all centering around the biggest word “LOVE” in the center. I laid out the blanket and used it to help me say “I love you” for the first time right before pulling out the Ring Cam and proposing.

Adam Ogilvie and Meaghan Tucci’s Proposal

How He Asked
She a photography fanatic and has followed “The Ulmers” (Amber and Josh) work for years and booked a “fall mini session.” Amber and I went to high school together and I grew up with her brother. I reached out to her direct and she was more than happy to help.

Day of the shoot Meaghan was more than excited. As my good friend Drizzy Drake would say she got her “Hair done, nails done, everything did” to ensure the pictures turned out perfect.

Meanwhile I scramble around with my errands trying to fend off the nervousness. Beard trim: Check, Ring Cam box hidden on site: Check, Family meet spot and time determined: Check. I meet her at the Salon so we can ride over together (also to make sure she doesn’t see the surprise engagement party already set up at my house) and we are off.

The session is twenty minutes as we work our way over to the concealed box. I see Josh motion to Amber who motions to our Family (Her parents, My parents, and My grandmother)that it’s happening. I pop down and the rest is captured thanks to the convenience of Ring Cam and the wonderful work of “The Ulmers.”
